Bellamy Young

Young was a performer when she began her career through theatre. In 1997 Young made her Broadway debut as Mary in the first The Life cast. The Life. Also, she performed off-Broadway in Stephensondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along (1994) along with the show of Randy Newman, Faust (1995-1996). 3][10] In 1995 she made her TV debut as a regular on"the" NBC daytime soap the show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. Between 1997 and 1998,, she appeared as a guest on Law & Order, playing two different roles. The film debut came in 1999. Her debut film was an uncredited role on Black and White. In subsequent years, she was featured in numerous independent films. In the early 2000s, Young began appearing as a guest star on a assortment of television dramas as well as comedy shows, such as The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Between 2000 to 2011 Young was a part of more than thirty television shows. Young was among the main actors on Peacemakers which was a USA Network television series that aired in 2003. The show was pulled off the air after just one season, which was nine episodes. The actress played the role of as Deputy Dist. on the Lifetime show For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami from 2005-2006, and Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the oldest son-in-law of the Darling Family.
