Emily Swallow

Swallow started her career with Broadway theatre where she performed in various productions, including High Fidelity, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Guthrie Theater, Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park, as well as the world premiere of off-Broadway performances Romantic Poetry and Measure for Pleasure. Swallow began her career as a film actress with the 2008 military thriller The Lucky Ones. Swallow was in the premiere at Los Angeles Geffen Playhouse of Donald Margulies play The Country House. The Guthrie Theatre she acted opposite Mark Rylance as Nice Fish in the play by Louis Jenkins. In 2010, her appearance as a character in The Taming of the Shrew received the Falstaff Award. Swallow developed a show in collaboration with fellow comedian Jac Huberman in 2012 called Jac N Swallow. They showed it in New York's Laurie Beeckman Theater as well as Joe's Pub. The show built around the humor of adventures as the two navigate diverse life experiences with various levels of mental sanity. Based on their characters they are creating a TV series. Guthrie Theater Guthrie Theater premiered Nice Fish in 2013, which was a collaboration that featured Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins. In 2016, Center Theatre Group cast the actress in Ayad Akhtar and Disgraced. Swallow was chosen for Guiding Light for her debut television role. She then appeared in Southland as well as Ringer, The Good Wife as well as NCIS. She played FBI agent Kim Fischer in The Mentalist. In 2015, she played the role of Amara in Supernatural's 11th season in the role of "the Darkness". As of 2019, she's the Armorer for The Mandalorian in Star Wars, as well as the leader for the Mandalorians of traditional faith. Her face has not been featured in the show as the traditionalists never take off their helmets in the view of others. In Season 3 The character becomes more prominent as the plot is focused on the Mandalorians and their traditions, not just Mandalorians. Emily Emily Emily
